[Advisory] Post-doc and Staff Opportunities at DesignSafe/TACC

I would like to announce two opportunities at the University of Texas to work with the DesignSafe and TACC teams in developing and testing the DesignSafe cyberinfrastructure for natural hazards research.  Candidates for these positions should have previous experience using DesignSafe and a commitment to enhancing natural hazards research with cyberinfrastructure.

Post-doc position: This post-doc position will involve working directly with Dr. Ellen Rathje in utilizing DesignSafe HPC, data, and AI/ML resources to enhance assessments of seismic landslide/slope failure hazards.  This work also will be used to improve the usability of DesignSafe resources by the broader research community.

TACC staff position:  This Research Associate (RA) position is in the High-Performance Computing (HPC) group at TACC and will provide leadership and technical expertise to TACC’s HPC research, development, and support initiatives, with a strong emphasis on supporting natural hazards
engineering research performed using DesignSafe.  Expertise in natural hazards research is required, and the position will involve significant interaction with the natural hazard research community.
