*Upgrades to SimCenter Research Tools and DesignSafe HPC*


The NHERI DesignSafe web portal was upgraded at the end of June, and the
middleware upgrades will enhance performance for scientific applications.
Users of SimCenter Research Applications uqFEM
<https://www.designsafe-ci.org/data/browser/public/designsafe.storage.community/SimCenter%2FSoftware%2FuqFEM>,
EE-UQ
<https://www.designsafe-ci.org/data/browser/public/designsafe.storage.community/SimCenter%2FSoftware%2FEE_UQ>,
and PBE
<https://www.designsafe-ci.org/data/browser/public/designsafe.storage.community/SimCenter%2FSoftware%2FPBE>
should download the latest version to take advantage of this performance
upgrade. If you have a version of these applications older than June 29,
the application can be run locally on your own computer but it will not run
on the enhanced HPC system.



SimCenter educational learning tool applications
<https://simcenter.designsafe-ci.org/learning-tools/overview> are not
impacted by the HPC middleware upgrade.

·       Changes for PBE v1.2.0
