share with you the passing of Prof. Steve Mahin on
February 9, following his courageous struggle with pancreatic cancer. Steve was
an inspiring leader and visionary engineer. H</span><span style="font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;text-align:start;text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-color:initial;float:none;word-spacing:0px"><span style="color:rgb(34,34,34);background:white">e contributed to </span><span style="font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;text-align:start;text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-color:initial;float:none;word-spacing:0px">the community in so
many ways. </span></span><span style="color:rgb(34,34,34)">It was his far-reaching imagination
that created the SimCenter, and we will miss his leadership and his warm

have been co-directing the SimCenter since Steve became ill this past fall, and
they plan to continue as co-directors. The people on the SimCenter team are
