*Natural Hazards Reconnaissance Facility Workshop: An Overview of the NHERI
RAPID Facility*

In tandem with the 11NCE Conference in Los Angeles, the RAPID Facility
presents a one-day workshop to familiarize natural hazards researchers with
its tools.

The RAPID facility supports and provides tools for the collection of
perishable field data from natural hazard events. This one-day workshop is
intended for potential natural hazard reconnaissance team members and data
users. It will provide an overview of the RAPID facility and tools, show
how individuals and teams may use the facility, and assist in NSF RAPID
proposal preparation. Participants will be prospective users of the RAPID
facility, including academic and government researchers, including PhD
students and natural hazards professionals.
