Help spread the word: NHERI REU program application online

Many of our past REU students have been encouraged to apply by a faculty
member! For this reason, I'm reaching out to solicit your help recruiting
applicants for this year's NHERI-REU program. If you teach undergraduate
courses, please encourage your students to apply. And please forward the
message below and attached flyer to professors who can encourage their
students to apply.

The Natural Hazards Engineering Research Infrastructure (NHERI) community
invites undergraduates to apply for a summer research opportunity with the
NHERI-REU Program (Research Experiences for Undergraduates). Currently
enrolled undergraduates interested in mitigating the effects of natural
hazards are invited to apply online at
https://www.designsafe-ci.org/learning-center/reu/. Undergraduates who have
conducted research with the NHERI REU program have been interested in civil
engineering, environmental engineering, architecture, geology, computer
programming, simulation and other related fields.
