Deadline extension Aug 5: MECHS 3-minute video competition

Dear MECHS community:

We are extending the deadline of the “MECHS 3-minute thesis" Video
Competition for students conducting research related to hybrid simulation:

*New Deadline: Midnight (eastern time, USA) on August 5th.*

*Please share with friends, students and colleagues!*

Graduate and undergraduate students from around the world are welcome to
participate. Each entry should discuss some aspect of their
dissertation/thesis that is related to hybrid simulation (which is also
known as dynamic sub-structuring or pseudo-dynamic testing).

Awards will be made by a panel of judges in several categories and winners
will be announced August 15-20th. See the attached flyer for details on how
to submit using the link:

Participants are encouraged to especially consider clarity, creativity, and
professionalism when making the video. *Each video submitted must be in
.mp4 format, and should be no longer than 3 minutes in duration*. Winning
entries will be recognized on the MECHS website and also posted on the
MECHS Youtube channel after names of the winners are announced.
