MECHS Collaboratory Video Competition now seeking entries

The MECHS Collaboratory <https://mechs.designsafe-ci.org/> is pleased to
announce the “MECHS 3-minute thesis" Video Competition for students
conducting research related to hybrid simulation.



Promote your research and magnify your impact!



Winners will receive a certificate, be recognized on the MECHS homepage and
YouTube channel — and be invited to deliver a MECHS webinar.



Graduate and undergraduate students from around the world are welcome to
participate. Each entry should discuss some aspect of their dissertation or
thesis that is related to hybrid simulation — which is also known as
dynamic sub-structuring or pseudo-dynamic testing.

All submissions are *DUE BY midnight (Eastern Time, USA) on July 31st*.



Awards will be made in four categories:



• Novelty

• Technical

• Creativity

• Presentation



Participants are encouraged to especially consider clarity, creativity, and
professionalism when making the video. *Each video submitted must be in
.mp4 format and be no longer than 3 minutes in duration*. Winning entries
will be recognized on the MECHS website and also posted on the MECHS
YouTube channel after names of the winners are announced.



Awards will be made by a panel of judges. Winners will be announced between
August 15-20th. Please submit your entry using the link:
