Wind (WOW) Experimental Facility (EF) and the NHERI SimCenter will be hosting
an <a href="https://www.designsafe-ci.org/learning-center/training/workshops/fiu-ef/2020-wow-ef-and-simcenter-workshop/"><b>online two-day</b> user workshop</a>. The focus of the workshop is

<ol start="1" type="1" style="margin-bottom:0in">
<li class="MsoNormal" style="color:rgb(51,51,51);margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Helvetica Neue"">Provide researchers with
information on the capabilities of the NHERI WOW EF and SimCenter for
advanced wind hazard engineering research.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="color:rgb(51,51,51);margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Helvetica Neue"">Explore opportunities to use the
WOW and SimCenter for unsolicited, CAREER, SBIR, and other types of NSF
proposals. One session will be dedicated to “Preparing Competitive NSF
Proposals (including CAREER Proposals).”</span></li>

opportunities to leverage the use of SimCenter tools in wind engineering
and to perform large- and full-scale experiments using the NHERI WOW EF.</span></li>

collaboration to facilitate multi-disciplinary, multi-hazards research.</span></li>

between NHERI team members (from WOW EF or SimCenter) and workshop
participants to discuss ideas (including integrated
