extreme damage and loss of life. This webinar examines the processes causing
these events, how they may be simulated, and the effects of inundation on
communities within the inundation zones. Theory, computation, and field work
are all represented. The talk will conclude with suggestions about future
directions for research and development to reduce damages and increase
resilience.<br>
