together academic and industry experts in earthquake engineering to discuss
research needs that can immediately impact current building codes and standards
and make use of the newly upgraded 6-DOF Large High-Performance Outdoor Shake
Table (LHPOST6). </p>

ultimately map the future direction of research and operations at UC San
Diego's Englekirk Structural Engineering Center (ESEC).</p>
