identify how the facilities can help address grand challenges in earthquake
engineering research and highlight future research directions that may
benefit from deploying the state-of-the-art RAPID equipment in projects using
the newly upgraded 6-DOF LHPOST. We invite experts and leaders in the field,
including practitioners, academics, and representatives from the construction
industry to participate in the workshop taking place over two mornings.</span></p>

feature a series of presentations showcasing the capabilities and available
equipment of both facilities and outline best practices for proposal
preparation. The second day consists of virtual tours and hands-on videos of
the shake table facility and the equipment available at RAPID, as well as presentations
demonstrating the new features of both facilities, panelist
presentations and open discussion regarding potential future collaboration and
