considered, though candidates with expertise in the following areas are
preferred: traffic estimation and control; traffic simulations in real time during
extreme events; traffic safety; transportation data analytics; connected &
autonomous vehicle operations; electric vehicle charging on roadways while
travelling; mobile sensing; cyber dependency of transportation networks; and
interdependencies between transportation systems and other infrastructure
