<p class="MsoNormal">Throughout 2020 your work using DesignSafe has been rewarded with a ~50% increase in data and platform citations, as compared to 2019. Details regarding the citation metrics can be found at
<a href="https://www.designsafe-ci.org/rw/impact-of-data-reuse/">The Impact of Data Reuse</a>. The increase in citations is due to your diligence citing the published datasets that you create/reuse in DesignSafe, and the functions that DesignSafe provides to
facilitate this task. Moving forward, we can continue to improve this record. <o:p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Below are strategies we recommend to improve citations and data reuse. These tips are based on two main principles: (a) citing data in a technical paper provides strong evidence about your work and stimulates data reuse, and (b) the DOI
technology is the key element for tracking your datasets, and for facilitating their discovery and access.
