Hi All,
Some of the EF's have in the past or currently use the command line tools to do the data transfer to their project space in DesignSafe. In the process, you have used login1.corral.tacc.utexas.edu<http://corral.tacc.utexas.edu> to access your project directories. We are transitioning from login1.corral.tacc.utexas.edu<http://corral.tacc.utexas.edu> to data.tacc.utexas.edu<http://data.tacc.utexas.edu> which now requires multi factor authentication.
Here are some tips going forward
1. If you are using Globus, you are fine and it doesn’t require any change from your side. You can continue to use as before.
2. If you use rsync or scp or any other command line tools manually , then you will log in to data.tacc.utexas.edu<http://data.tacc.utexas.edu> which requires a one-time multi factor authentication setup outlined in the following link
https://portal.tacc.utexas.edu/tutorials/multifactor-authentication
3. If you use any kind of automated script to push your data into DesignSafe, please do let us know immediately so that we can start working on alternatives to continue with your data uploads.
Please feel free to contact us or submit a ticket if you have any questions.
Thanks
Siva
