[Ef] Email update in lieu of EF meeting today

In lieu of today’s meeting, as we have a handful of us unavailable including me attending the 43rd Natural Hazards Workshop, here is an email update.

We continue to see a lot of datasets being published and we remind you to direct your researchers to the Virtual Office Hours (Tue/Thu 1pm Central https://designsafe-ci.zoom.us/j/730745593<https://designsafe-ci.zoom.us/j/730745593%3Chttps://designsafe-ci.zoom.us/j/730745593%3E>) for assistance with publishing. Also the current lead story on the home page is What’s New in the Data Depot featuring published hurricane datasets as we enter the 2018 hurricane season. We will be looking to promote additional datasets and science outcomes over the coming year, and we encourage you to alert us or the NCO of ideas you have in this regard.
