We are so excited to be organizing a workshop at the Natural Hazards Research Summit on October 7 entitled, "Lifting the Veil of Academic Publishing in Natural Hazards Research". This workshop is geared towards answering pressing graduate student questions on publishing cutting-edge research in the field with emphasis on the following topics:

*             Publishing Best Practices
*             H&I Indices, Conferences, and Journals
*             Publishing of Data
*             Peer Review, Rejection
