performance evaluation in seismic design and retrofitting. To represent the seismic hazard and ground motion characteristics at a building site, the ground motions used in analysis need to be properly selected and scaled. This presentation will introduce the
implementation of ground motion selection and scaling in SimCenter </span><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:19.973333px;color:black" class="ContentPasted0"><span class="markaux0ufqf9"><span style="border: 1pt none windowtext; padding: 0in; font-size: 12pt; line-height: normal;" class="ContentPasted0">EE-UQ</span></span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: normal; color: black;" class="ContentPasted0"> application
as a streamlined workflow along with structural time history analysis. The available options of target spectra, scaling methods, and physical constraints (e.g., earthquake magnitude, ground motion duration) in the application will be illustrated by an example
