[Nheri-council] User-facing Calendar of Events for the NHERI Community

Council,

DesignSafe is working on implementing a user-facing calendar for 
outreach, training, etc. Dan asked that
we compile a list of upcoming events for the calendar. Some examples of 
possible events for inclusion are:

Jan 9-13  WCEE   Santiago, Chile   (NHERI Session; POC: Ellen)
Apr 6-8  SEI Structures Conference,  Denver CO
May 1-3  NSF Large Facilities Workshop, LIGO/Livingston LA (required for 
NHERI)
May 21-14  ACWE, Gainesville FL  (POC: Forrest)
June 3-7  DesignSafe annual site visit, Austin TX
June 4-7  EMI, San Diego CA  (abstracts due Dec 31 2016)  (potential 
NHERI session)
July 19-20   Coastal Hazards Engineering Workshop,  Corvallis OR 
(pending NSF approval, POC: Dan Cox)

Please share with me before the end of the year events in 2017 you may 
wish to see in
the user-facing calendar. I will compile the list for your review and 
communication to designsafe-ci
