Thanks, Julio! It was great to see many of you last week! We, the User Forum, really appreciate your help identifying users and requesting them to fill out the UF survey. We will also follow up, as discussed, to work out consistent user satisfaction-based questions on your post-project and post-workshop surveys.
Thanks so much!

Subject: Summer Institute and User Forum Annual Survey

Good morning,

I wanted on behalf of the NCO extend our appreciation for joining us at the recent Summer Institute. Currently, assessments are being conducted, but the early returns indicate that once again JoAnn Browning and the UTSA team achieved a great success with all of your support. She will follow up with some of the more detailed results of the assessment. The CONVERGE facility, lead by Lori Peek also joined us for the first time and played a key role in this Institute.

During the Institute the governance also met, and I have a request for you from the User Forum. Attached is the a spreadsheet containing the name and e-mail address of researchers that worked at the NHERI facilities and that you kindly helped the User Forum putting it together. The request is that you please follow up with those researchers at your facilities with a brief e-mail indicating the importance of their participation in the NHERI survey they recently received. As you all know, user satisfaction is a key metric used by NSF in the evaluation of NHERI.

Please contact directly Elaina Sutley, chair of the User Forum, if you have questions about this request.

Elaina: please feel free to elaborate on this request if needed.

Thank you in advance for all the attention you may give to this request.

Best...Julio
