Subject: Invitation - The Field Guide

Dear SciTS community,

We want to thank those of you who have provided some input on the Field Guide (below request).

If you have used the Field Fuide in one way or another - and have not provided input - we invite you to take a couple of minutes to share thoughts with us.

We put together a few questions - very brief - found at this link<https://forms.gle/Z2q3tHRM13XbW1wx5>.

Any and all input by December 17, 2022 would be great.

Thanks,
Michelle
(with Howard and Samantha)

Subject: The Field Guide: Collaboration and Team Science

Dear SciTS community,

It was almost 13 years ago now that we published the first version of Collaboration and Team Science: A Field Guide. It is without exaggeration that we are so very humbled by its broad acceptance and use throughout the Team Science community.

It is fair to say that we do not have a full understanding of how the Field Guide has been and is being used in different settings from research teams to faculty development to instruction. What we have heard has been very positive and we are grateful for that response.

We are very interested in your continued input and feedback as we take a more critical look at the Field Guide in anticipation of a refresh. So much has happened over the last three years that we believe is relevant to the content of the Field Guide and we will be working to integrate those elements.

In addition, we believe that many of you may have input and feedback - and we hope you are willing to share that with us. If so, we have developed a short, informal survey that contains a handful of questions around which we are seeking input. It can be found by clicking this link<https://forms.gle/Z2q3tHRM13XbW1wx5>. Your response to a few or all the questions would be greatly appreciated.

For those of you not familiar with the Field Guide, I have attached a pdf version here.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me.

Thank you
Michelle
