Hello NHERI Awardees:
Thank you for all the work you are doing to support natural hazards engineering research, education, and the NHERI REU summer students!
A few updates before the next NHERI Council Meeting in August - please share this email with your facility staff:
Please contribute your success stories to the NSF "Science Happens Here" campaign to showcase the amazing research and education projects and community resources being enabled by NHERI and your facility! NSF is especially looking for informative visuals/multimedia. NHERI has so much to showcase to inform the public about natural hazards, mitigation, etc. - please contribute!

You should have received an email from NSF RI Outreach (RI is research infrastructure) (rioutreach at nsf.gov<mailto:rioutreach at nsf.gov>) about the National Science Foundation's (NSF) Large Facilities Office (LFO) 2022 Research Infrastructure Workshop (RIW), September 13-16, 2022, in Boulder, CO. The link below provides further information about the workshop. On September 16, there will be three specialty workshops that can be registered for separately: Cyberinfrastructure Workshop led by CI Compass<https://ci-compass.org/>; a Facility Safety Officer Workshop; and a Cyber Security Workshop led by Trusted CI.<https://www.trustedci.org/> https://researchinfrastructureoutreach.com/workshop/. Please plan on attending in-person or virtually! Registration is now open.
Kind regards,
Joy
