I have a couple of items for the Council on behalf of the NCO:<br>
<br>
1. The Science Plan Task Group plan plans to submit for your <br>
review the first draft of the plan before the end of May. A
technical<br>
editor will be looking at the plan as well. Please feel free to
skip <br>
editorial comments if you would like to do so and focus on the
technical aspects.<br>
Related to this, see at the bottom of this message the proposed
cover for the plan.<br>
The NCO media specialist has developed a cover with a logo for the
science plan using <br>
the look and feel of the NHERI cyber-page. <br>
<br>
2. The NCO would like to proceed to activate, with your support as
a NHERI committee, <br>
the Technology Transfer Committee. The material describing the <br>
purpose and list of individuals that will be invited to
participate is in the attachment for<br>
your review. We are very excited about the important role that
this committee can play NHERI wide and<br>
with the broader community.<br>
