Just curious, when Rick Fragaszy retired, did the geotech
community do anything formal? If so, it might be good do
something similar for Joy. In coastal engineering, we’ll
sometimes dedicate a session to a person who recently
retired and has had a big impact on our field, but I’ve not
seen this done for a program manager. </div>

In a chat with Giovanna a couple weeks ago, the idea
of a workshop came up to honor Joy (in some way that

lines of "NHERI presents" but with the biggest
outcomes that launch us into the next 10 years.

about the ‘visibility’ of NHERI while we are in a
holding pattern regarding the solicitation, etc.
I proposed something simple like a monthly webinar
series titled “NHERI Presents …” I got a few
direct messages from folks saying they liked the
idea. </div>
