*Tornado Hazard Wind Assessment and ReducTion Symposium (THWARTS)*

October 14-15, 2019

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign – iHotel and Conference Center



THWARTS is the new venue for inter-disciplinary tornado science discussion
and collaboration. Come to be inspired, to share your insight, and to
connect with the current and future leaders in tornado research. THWARTS will
focus on severe storm meteorology, wind science & engineering, structural
engineering, and social science & policy disciplines, but all
tornado-related disciplines are welcome. Special emphasis on young
researchers and students. *THWARTS has partial travel funding available for
early career researches or graduate students.*
