RAPID Summer Workshop: Application deadline extended

Dear Colleagues:



Due to the coronavirus outbreak, we are extending the deadline for
applications to the RAPID summer workshop until *April 17, 2020*.


Application review and notification will be completed by May 1. We
currently plan to hold the workshop, as planned, from July 21-24, 2020.
However, we will be monitoring the outbreak in the coming month and decide
by May 1, 2020 if the situation warrants postponing the event, possibly to
the fall of 2020. More information on the workshop is provided below.



The NHERI RAPID <https://rapid.designsafe-ci.org/> facility will be hosting
the next in its series of annual intensive summer training workshops from
July 21-24, 2020, on the University of Washington campus in Seattle. The
workshop will provide attendees with hands-on expertise on using RAPID
instrumentation to collect and process field data, and instruction on
integrating the reconnaissance data through the use of the mobile software
application RApp
