The 2020 Researchers Meeting is organized around the theme of *The Data
Revolution: Ethical Imperatives and Methodological Considerations for
Hazards and Disaster Research*
<https://hazards.colorado.edu/workshop/2020/researchers-meeting/overview>
*. *Sessions will focus on new data technologies and capabilities, while
also tackling enduring and emergent ethical and methodological
considerations concerning *why* we collect data, *what* we measure, *who* we
collect data from, and *how* we gather and share data in disaster contexts.
Join us for 20+ concurrent sessions featuring over 100 original research
papers, a distinguished keynote and plenary session, special training
sessions on data collection and data publication, and a lunch and learn
session with National Science Foundation (NSF) program officers.



The 2020 Researchers Meeting is scheduled to immediately follow the 45th
Annual Natural Hazards Workshop <https://hazards.colorado.edu/workshop/2020>.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend both (first-ever virtual) events.
