[reu-1] REU Week 1 Updates

Dear NHERI REU:


I hope you are having a great first week of your summer research experience!


Several questions have come in this weekend and I want to clarify to the entire group:


*The week 1 reflection form is now online in the Moodle site.


*The mentor goal form is due on Wednesday, June 6th.


*Pictures for the weekly competition can be uploaded to the following Google drive. Remember, there will be one winner per week.  https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1su7RaxNWTZg-BiauIFcaAAgoUqY8qA6O?usp=sharing


*Please read and sign both release forms.  Let me know if you have any trouble making this submission.


*In your timesheets, record ALL time spent related to your research.  This includes preparing for your research, attending REU orientation, taking safety courses, reading published articles, any activities assigned by your mentor, completing REU deliverables, etc.  The time recorded does not have to be ACTUAL research.  It can be activities in preparation for research or directly related to your research.
