<p>We are excitedly welcoming K-12 teachers to UTSA and we will be introducing them to the NHERI community.</p>

<p>Your presentations will be a way for them to connect your research and that of NHERI to the classroom. You will be the experts on your research topic in the room.  Your role today is very important!</p>

<p>Several of you have asked to present first.  I will log in early (about 15 minutes early) to set everyone's order. You should have your presentation ready to share.</p>

<p>*Present your lesson plan for 10 minutes (approximately 10 slides)</p>

<p>*Take questions after presentation for about 5 minutes</p>

<p>Teachers will receive electronic copies of your lesson plans (in a flash drive) to modify to their classrooms and add educational standards.</p>

<p>Be ready to answer questions. If you don't know the answer to the question, don't feel pressured; give your best response.</p>
