[Reu-2] Deliverables due Today

Dear REU 2,

Since I've received several questions about the deliverables, here are the answers to some of the questions on the deliverables due today.

SAMPLE PUBLICATION
Ask your mentor for a published article that you can model your research paper after.  This paper can also include information about your project and/or other information that will help you better understand the research you are working on.

Once you receive the article, go to http://smallpdf.com and compress it. Then upload it to the Moodle site. If you have any problems uploading it, please send it to me and hope.lopez at utsa.edu<mailto:hope.lopez at utsa.edu>.

MENTOR/GOAL FORM
The mentor/goal form will be due next week.  Take the time to get all the information filled out. Review it with your mentors (faculty AND graduate student mentors). And finally upload it to Moodle.

NATURAL HAZARDS MODULE
The due date for the Natural Hazards module has been pushed back. The University of Colorado - Boulder is providing this module and as soon as they get it to us, you will receive the link to complete it.  So the due date will be in two weeks AND before the UC Boulder presentation on Monday, July 8th.
