To whom it may concern,

I am writing because my colleagues (Kaleigh Yost-Lead and Nariman Mahabadi
cc-ed here) and I are compiling a collaborative proposal for NSF to be
submitted to the Civil Engineering Infrastructure program and are *eager to
engage with the TTC for rapid technology transfer of research results into
practice*. Our proposal can positively impact state-of-the-art seismic
analysis, particularly liquefaction analysis.

Our project is entitled CORAL: *C*ross-scale *O*verarching *R*esearch for
*A*ccurate *L*iquefaction Assessment in Calcareous Sands. It will study the
behavior of calcareous sands from micro to macro scales to develop
physics-informed liquefaction assessment tools for these highly complex and
heterogeneous soils.

*We would love to engage with the TTC to identify pathways for the
successful transfer of technology results from our project results into
practical knowledge*. To discuss this topic more,* we would like to meet
with a current member *with expertise in Geotechnical Engineering,
particularly Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering.

Thank you in advance for your attention, and we are looking forward to
hearing from you.

Best regards,

*Luis Zambrano-Cruzatty, Ph.D.*
