The next in a series of STKO online E-Learning training seminars will be:
Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 6:00pm GMT+1(Rome/Italy)/12:00pm Eastern Time US.

During this course, we will demonstrate how to use friction pendulums for modeling seismic isolation in OpenSees using STKO. This will include how to choose the right friction pendulum element, how to choose and calibrate the friction model, how to compute an equivalent (effective) elastic spring for the modal analysis, and how to run multiple NLTH analyses with different ground motions.

The seminar will be presented by Dr. Massimo Petracca, Managing Partner & Chief Software Developer of STKO.
