Since its founding in 2018, the *Structural Extreme Events Reconnaissance
(StEER) Network* <https://www.steer.network/> has assumed a critical role
in documenting the performance of the built environment following natural
hazard events, as well as in assessing the impacts on community resilience.
This webinar will provide an overview of the National Science
Foundation-supported StEER network and will feature speakers from the StEER
Leadership Team. Attendees will learn more about StEER’s community-led
approach to reconnaissance and its protocols for systematic, coordinated
field observations of the built environment in wind, seismic, and coastal
hazards.
