for Post-Event Reconnaissance Data*

The Structural Engineering Extreme Events Reconnaissance (StEER) network
focuses not only on efficiently collecting perishable data, but also on
ensuring that data is suitable for reuse. The reuse potential of
reconnaissance data, which emphasizes both reusability and discoverability,
has been enhanced through the creation of policies and protocols for
curation/publication within DesignSafe.

This webinar, contextualized within the response to Hurricane Michael, will
overview StEER’s approach to generating high-quality, reusable
reconnaissance data compatible with the DesignSafe Field Research Data
Model.
