*Infrastructure/Civil Engineering Materials Faculty Search, University of
Oklahoma*



The School of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science (CEES) within the
Gallogly College of Engineering (GCoE) at the University of Oklahoma (OU)
invites applications for a *tenure- track faculty position at the Assistant
Professor level in Infrastructure/Civil Engineering Materials*.



It is anticipated that this position will complement the existing
structural engineering group’s expertise in sustainable and resilient civil
infrastructure and candidates should have expertise related to
infrastructure/civil engineering materials. While other areas will be
considered, preferred candidates will have a research focus in (1) polymer
synthesis, characterization, and data analysis for new material design and
development and/or (2) development, manufacture, and performance of
structural materials—including fiber-reinforced polymers (FRP), pultruded
FRP composites, FRP reinforcement for concrete structures, or polymer-based
admixtures and coatings for concrete.
