Good morning. My name is Robin Nelson, and I work with the Education and Community Outreach for NHERI and unfortunately not with DataDepot. However, I am trying to identify a contact for the DesignSafe Data Set Awards who can answer your question. I will get back to you as soon as possible.

I do know that as soon as up upload your data set to DataDepot a DOI is provided. Based on that information, I would think you have to submit the DOI.

I will see if I can find someone to connect you with who works with the award.

I've been assisting our team at New York University in hosting a dataset we've been working on through the Data Depot in hopes of nominating it for the 2023 DesignSafe Dataset awards. I wanted to check if we needed the DOI to be confirmed before submitting the nomination?
