[Ef] Email Update : DesignSafe EF Bi-Monthly Mtg

Hi All,

We are postponing this meeting to next month, and providing an email update on a couple of topics from last month's meeting.

With respect to the website theme change, our web dev team has not yet rolled out the theme changes to the EF sites. This is expected to be completed before we meet next month.

With respect to the new hardware for the DesignSafe storage, named Corral here at TACC, the ice storm/power emergency in Austin last month set us back. The hardware has arrived, and it will take a few weeks to get it installed, powered, and configured.

At this time, the plan is to keep the same file paths, so any scripts/automation you have set up for file uploads will not need to be changed. We will also move all of your current data to the new hardware for you. There will be an announced maintenance time for the switchover to the new hardware.
