Abstract
In this webinar, we will first revisit the existing tools and resources at DesignSafe for Machine Learning and AI applications. Then we will demonstrate in detail about how to perform ML studies on DesignSafe. In particular, four well-documented examples, covering four different ML algorithms, such as linear regression, random forest, artificial neural network (ANN) and convolution neural network (CNN), will be displayed and explained. At the end, a Q&A session will be provided to clarify things and answer questions from audiences.
Bio
My name is Wenyang Zhang. I am a research associate within the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) at the University of Texas, Austin.
My research interests have revolved around developing computational and physical modeling and data analytics methodologies in design and performance assessment of life pipelines and infrastructure systems, to further enhance their resilience and sustainability.
