[NGSC] NHERI GSC Research Tools Workshop on 12/9: Machine Learning and AI Resources at DesignSafe

The NHERI GSC invites you to attend PART II in the Research Tools Workshop series hosted in collaboration with the NHERI Sim Center. Please register to receive the Zoom link: https://lnkd.in/gZ35_zC4.

In this month's workshop, we will first revisit the existing tools and resources at DesignSafe for Machine Learning and AI applications. Then, we will demonstrate how to perform ML studies on DesignSafe in detail. In particular, four well-documented examples will be displayed and explained, covering four different ML algorithms: linear regression, random forest, artificial neural network (ANN), and convolution neural network (CNN). At the end of the webinar, a Q&A session will clarify any questions from the audience.

Dr. Zhang is a research associate at the University of Texas, Austin with the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC). His research interests revolve around developing computational and physical modeling and data analytics methodologies in design and performance assessment of life pipelines and infrastructure systems, to further enhance their resilience and sustainability.
