Dear Permissions Department,

I am writing to request permission to reprint material in a publication of
the Transportation Research Board (TRB), a division of The National Academy
of Sciences (NAS), which is now being prepared for publication. The
publication is tentatively titled:

NCHRP 14-45: Response Planning, Assessment, and Rapid Restoration of
Service of Bridges in Extreme Events

Author(s): Andre Barbosa, Michael Olsen, Carly Loving, Marc Veletzos,
ZhiQiang Chen, Chengyi Li, Gene Roe, Robert Winans, Kaz Tabrizi and Abeer
Al-Shammari

We request a nonexclusive worldwide license in all media and languages now
or hereafter known, in both printed and electronic formats, to use the
material specified (see attached) in the referenced work, and in subsequent
and alternative editions (including versions made for use by blind or
physically handicapped individuals).

If you do not control these rights in their entirety, would you please
indicate to whom I should apply?

Please confirm receipt of this email. Upon receiving this permission
request, please fill in the requested information and return a copy to me
by July 31, 2023. Thank you for your consideration.
