FYI. Here is a link to the PPT that we used in December at CSU Fresno for a seminar to undergrads about research opportunities/grad school etc. It has a few slides (15-34) covering the experimental facilities in NHERI. Could use a couple new ones to flesh it.

Thank you, Debbie.

To Session Participants:

1. Note that our session is on Thursday April 19, 1:30 to 3:00 PM (90 minutes total). There are five
presentations in total (see below). I suggest that we plan of 16 minute presentations, including the
time for two questions in those 16 minutes. This will leave 10 minutes total for introducing the session and
transition between each one of you. As always it is important to keep the schedule so that the final speaker (Joel)
is not cut short on his time.

2. The organizers will provide LCD projectors, but we need to bring our own laptop. I will be bringing a MAC as the moderator.
I will bring an adapter. If you envision problems with compatibility, let me know and we can work an alternate strategy for you.

3. I will share a folder in dropbox or similar so that you may load the presentation when ready and test it. Then, I will load it in my MAC.

4. Please register for the conference. Registration is open now and you are eligible for a discounted rate.

Feel free to contact me or Debbie if you have questions.
Thanks!

Julio

Dear Structures Congress 2018 Moderator, Authors and Presenters,

Happy New Year! I wanted to send everyone a reminder about the session you are participating in during Structures Congress 2018. I have attached the list of session authors, presenters and moderators so you all can easily communicate with one and other.

Moderators, please reach out to your session participants this month and tell them your due date to receive final power points so you have time to upload them to the laptop you are bringing to the session and can test that everything works properly. Also let presenters know the amount of time they will have to speak. Some sessions are 60 minutes, and some are 90 minutes. If any presenters have changed or are no longer participating, please let me know ASAP.

Please read the attached instructions carefully and Please do not wait to reach out to the presenters.

Remember you must bring the laptop for the session and make sure all the power points operate properly.
